Research. Medicine. Engineering. Now boarding.

Serious travel
for curious minds.

Catptain Schrodinger reports: the suitcase is both packed and unpacked until the travel checklist is complete.

The conference is not the hard part.

The abstract is accepted. The slides are almost finished. Then the hotel block closes, the convenient flight disappears, and the transfer plan begins to resemble an unsupervised experiment.

Travel works better when someone studies the whole system: the session time, route, lodging, ground transport, preferences, budget, and terms. That is the work Atlas2Catalyst is built to do.

Poster accepted. Hotel not so much.

Keynote at 8:00. Landing at 7:52 is a calculation error.

Five travelers. Three labs. One budget. Excellent. The variables have names.

Built around the reason you are going

Your trip has a purpose. Your itinerary should complement that.

Conference travel is not leisure travel wearing a lanyard. It may involve presentations, continuing education, committee work, collaborations, exhibitions, or a team that cannot arrive in five different time zones.

Medical

Congresses, faculty travel, CME events, and investigator meetings

Arrival timing, venue access, official housing, and requested travel services are considered together.

Describe the event

Science

Symposia, poster sessions, workshops, and research visits

Routes and schedules are planned around the actual work, not an imaginary traveler with no obligations.

Describe the work

Engineering

Standards meetings, technical conferences, and site visits

Team logistics, transport, lodging, deadlines, and supplier terms receive the same systems view.

Describe the team

No uncontrolled variables, except perhaps the conference coffee.

CATPTAIN
SCHRODINGER

Meet the Cat in Catalyst

He has observed the itinerary.

Schrodinger is the Catptain of Travel, chief inspector of route maps, conference badges, and unattended cardboard boxes. His professional view is that uncertainty belongs in quantum mechanics, not in an airport transfer.

Travel can be complicated, but the explanation should not be. Andy handles the planning. Schrodinger handles morale.

Frequently asked questions

Useful answers

The Site Guide can filter these answers.

What kinds of trips do you handle?

Atlas2Catalyst focuses on professional travel for medical, scientific, and engineering communities, including conferences, congresses, trade shows, research or business visits, technical meetings, fieldwork, and team travel. Personal extensions and personal or leisure trips can also be discussed.

How do I start?

Use the guided trip request if you know the basic trip goal, or the quick question path if you are still deciding. You can review everything before sending. Starting an inquiry does not book anything.

What does this cost?

The website does not publish a standard price because each request may involve different services and supplier terms. Andy will present proposed costs and important terms in writing before you decide. Prices and availability remain subject to supplier confirmation until booked.

Does sending a request book anything?

No. A website request is an inquiry only. Nothing is booked until you review the exact proposed arrangements and material terms, approve them in writing, and complete the required secure authorization process.

How will trip planning be communicated?

Andy replies by email. To preserve a complete written record, trip planning information, requests, changes, decisions, and approvals are accepted and used only when submitted through this website or Andy@atlas2catalyst.com. The business number, (617) 807-0161, is available for general calls and text messages only. Information provided only by phone or text will not be used to plan, change, approve, or book travel.

When will I receive a reply?

Andy personally reviews each inquiry and replies by email. Response time depends on the trip and current workload, so the website does not promise an immediate response. Atlas2Catalyst does not provide urgent or in trip emergency assistance.

Can you plan for accessibility, children, service animals, pets, or meal preferences?

Yes. Describe the requested travel service or preference at a high level, without diagnoses or medical records. Andy can coordinate requests, but fulfillment is not guaranteed unless the responsible supplier confirms it in writing.

How is payment information handled?

Never send card numbers or security codes through this website, ordinary email, phone, or text. Payment authorization is handled only through approved secure supplier or MyAtlas processes. Written approval of a trip is separate from payment authorization.

Is travel protection optional?

Yes. Travel protection is optional and is never preselected or pressured. An answer on the inquiry form records only whether you want general information now. It does not purchase or decline coverage. For an eligible trip, the final decision is handled and documented separately in writing after applicable information and terms are provided by the appropriate licensed provider.

What information should I leave out?

Do not send card details, passwords, passport numbers, diagnoses, medical records, research subject information, or confidential technical material through this website or ordinary email. Describe only the trip, requested service, or preference. If other information is later required, Andy will direct you to the appropriate process.

What if I need to change or cancel a booking?

Send the request by email with only the relevant nonsensitive details. Andy will review the current supplier terms and explain the consequences. A change, cancellation, refund, or credit is not complete until the responsible supplier confirms it. A material change may require new written approval and secure authorization.

What should I do in an emergency?

Atlas2Catalyst does not provide urgent or in trip emergency assistance. Contact the relevant airline, hotel, tour operator, other supplier, or local emergency services as appropriate.

Can Florida residents submit an inquiry?

Not yet. Florida service is planned for a future phase, and the guided form currently stops before detailed trip information is collected. You may email Andy to ask whether service has been activated. Until Andy confirms availability in writing, please do not submit trip details.
